Pumpkins!!!

So it is the day before Halloween. We didn’t make it to the pumpkin patch because I was either working or it was pouring rain. There is always next year! As much as I love Halloween I don’t have anything to do with carving the pumpkin besides taking pictures and blogging about it, why? A) Ever since I was pregnant the first time around the smell of pumpkin makes me want to well you know B) I have zero artistic ability to carve it. C) Most importantly Tony prefers that I do not use a knife as it may result in my clumsy self making a trip to the emergency room!

As you can see from the pictures Bella enjoyed eating the pumpkin,

Antonio had the picture on his I phone supervising while Daddy (the creative Super Dad) Did all of the carving. The end result is this magnificent  photo.

What type of Halloween activities do you like to do with the kiddies? Do you have any Halloween Traditions?  I  It’s 2 pm, time to take off my Mommy hat and put on my REALTOR hat! Have a safe, and SPOOKTACULAR Halloween everyone!!!

Chaos after a long day! Thank you McMaster Childrens Hospital!

So,I had a great day yesterday. Met with a new clients, arranged this weekends appointments and started this blog. I arrive home at almost nine o'clock all is well and then within two minutes BAM all hell breaks out. After a screaming three year old for 20 minutes I rush him to the hospital, got there just in time to throw up everywhere. YES all you moms know what I am talking about. All over the bed, himself, me and the floor. All in a nut shell we were home by almost 2am he is fine now, thank goodness. The diva in training actually slept until 5am before she woke up for a bottle and let me sleep in until 8am!!! WOW I feel great. The house is awake and I am prepping for my afternoon with a client, blogging,  and all is well in the Pasquini household.

I really want to thank the McMaster Children's Hospital for being so amazing with Antonio last night. They were so thorough and did whatever they could to make sure that both Antonio and I were comfortable. They provided him with Toopy and Binoo to watch, popsicles and juice whenever he wanted it, made him laugh, and continuously checked in.We are very fortunate to have access to such an amazing hospital with doctors and nurses who love what they do, and have a smile on their face all even though they have already been working for 12 hours.

 Thank you!
Have you had similar experiences as a NEW Parent?    Are you also a FAN of McMaster Hospital?

Love Life in Stoney Creek!

A day in the life

It's 4:30 am! Yes I know early but that is a typical start to the day for me. 4 days out of seven I am on schedule and the rest are a blur.  Isabella wakes up regularly throughout the night so this is nothing new. It's funny how sleep is never the same again after having children. So 4:30 rolls around I put the coffee maker on, feed Bella her bottle, put her back to sleep and make my way down the stairs while Antonio and Tony are both snoring. I start studying while I am sipping on my dose of caffeine and think to myself is this what my life has come to?  You better believe it!!! After a while I start to wake up and realize if I get to the gym now I can be back before everyone wakes up and I am out the door. Ah the gym how it makes me realize with every workout how great my body looked before my monsters came into this world. Now I have  a stomach that looks like a tractor drove all over it  THAT'S HOT RIGHT?
I get home everyone is awake and I better hustle and dress to impress as 9am is just around the corner. All in a nutshell working from home is a nightmare. I can't wait to go to the office, or appointments do what I have to do, check my social media 24/7, and wait for my husband to say honey are you done yet. He just did it now as it's 7:15pm and I am at the office preparing for my weekend appointments (he doesn't know about this blog yet).
At some point I get home. If it's early enough the kids are awake but lately they are sleeping and I have a quick opportunity to catch up with hubby before it's bed time. Now you are probably thinking stay at home dad? I WISH!!! He would be great at it, he cooks, cleans way better then I do and the kids love him to pieces but unfortunately he is off on parental leave until Bella has her first birthday in less then a month :(. Time flies! Well that's it I will have more but I think it would be good to go home to my family.
